The rental apartment is located in a luxury complex behind the 4 star Casino Hotel Palais de la Mediterranee, making it the perfect base for a City Holiday, beach Holiday, and indeed for exploring the Riviera.
You couldn't be more centrally situated in Nice ... pedestrian area, Department Stores, Opera, Old Town and Port, restaurants, Art Galleries all a short walk away.

The apartment is right in the heart of the city centre, with direct access to the promenade.
This spacious well decorated two bedroom apartment, offers accommodation for six including a convertible double sofa in the living room which has a new 42” Plasma TV with access to international channels, DVD player, stereo system, selection of DVD's, CD's and books for our guests' relaxation. A fitted and equipped kitchen is separate and there is a large bathroom. There is a large south facing terrace, which looks across the internal gardens, and a second terrace facing North-East. The surroundings are quiet and car-free!
Balcony, Parking (paying) available in the underground Palais de la Mediterranee public car park. Large south facing balcony with dining table, chairs & sunloungers. Smaller north east facing balcony with dining table & chairs for 4 people. Smoking allowed on the terraces. Accessible from 29 rue de France via a coded security gate. Security of a gated residence. City quiet retreat.
Accommodation includes a double bedroom with queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom with WC and 1 twin bedroom with twin beds and travel cot for young child. There are generously built-in closets in both bedrooms.
Individual air-conditioning / heating controls in the lounge and bedrooms. The system is by a central heat pump, either in ''Cooling'' or ''Heating'' mode. Change-over is twice a year, in early summer and late Autumn, at the discretion of the local residents, based on weather conditions.
There is a shower room with hand basin and a separate WC with hand basin also.
NICE (NIZZA) TOURIST INFORMATION
These rental apartments are close to the beach, to many restaurants, boutiques, hotels and bars, the famous Hotel Negresco is within easy walking distance as are Nice's pedestrian shopping streets and department stores.
A stroll along the promenade will take you past the old town of Nice with its famous Flower and Antique Markets, and a little further on you will find the old port with its many lovely sea food restaurants.

Nice: 1st floor apartment near the old city and the port of Nice (sleeps 4) The southern exposure allows for a pleasant stay. You will find everything you need at the “centre commercial Nice TNL” that is just down the street. The train station is just a 5 minutes walk away from the apartment. 2010: Good availability. 
North Nice Studio apartment near the Matisse Museum - sleeps 4 - with swimming pool with more of the feeling of a villa and ideally situated for exploring the area 2010: Good availability.
